CAPS is a club devoted to promoting the safe and legitimate use of firearms. Our emphasis is on practical shooting, including pistol, rifle and shotgun. Law enforcement officers are always welcome at CAPS! CAPS is a United States Practical Shooting Association
(USPSA) affiliated club located in Logan, Utah, approximately 80 miles north of Salt Lake City.
Practical pistol matches are held rain or shine on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Cache Valley Hunter Education Center, located at 2851 West Valley View Highway (Highway 30 / 200 N in Logan), approximately 3 miles west of Logan, Utah. Matches are typically held on the Special Interest Range on the east side of the facility. Match setup takes place at 1700 on the Friday before the match and resumes at 0700 on match day. Please come early on Saturday and help setup. There is a required (free) new shooter orientation class at 0800 on match day. Match registration is from 0830 - 0900 and the walk through begins at 0900 sharp. Shooters arriving after the walk through are not permitted to participate in the match. Eye and ear protection are required for all shooters and all spectators.
Match fees are $12 for members and $17 for nonmembers. New shooters shoot their first match for free. Yearly membership dues are $30. Family memberships are available.

Association - SLPSA
SLPSA is Utah's oldest practical shooting club and is affiliated
with the United States Practical Shooting Association (www.uspsa.org
). SLPSA holds regular pistol matches at the Lee Kay Center's Wasatch Action Shooting Range, 6000 W 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Matches are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month,
rain or shine. Setup begins at 7:00 AM, shooter registration at 8:00
AM and the match will begin at 9:00 AM.
We usually run six stages including a USPSA Classifer
and the total match requires about 120 rounds. We design our stages
to be Production gun friendly.
New shooters are welcome and need to attend a new shooter
orientation. Email or call a club representative for more information.

Head west on 2100 South (Route 201)
North on 5600 West, then take first left (west)
Enter Lee Kay Center through East Service Entrance prior to 9:00 am.
